Child Safety Standards
Giftbuster: Shopping wishlist
Last updated: August 9, 2026
Our commitment
Giftbuster: Shopping wishlist ("Giftbuster") has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). We prohibit any content, conduct, or use of our service that sexualises, endangers, or exploits minors.
These standards apply to everything on Giftbuster: wishlists, gift items, images, profile information, display names, and any text a user can enter or share.
What is prohibited
The following are strictly forbidden on Giftbuster:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, links, and text.
- Content that sexualises minors, or presents them in a sexually suggestive manner.
- Grooming, solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to establish sexual contact with a minor.
- Trafficking of minors, or facilitating it.
- Sharing, requesting, or linking to any of the above, including via external links added to wishlists.
Accounts used for these purposes are removed.
How we prevent CSAE
- Terms of Service and these standards prohibit CSAE content and conduct, and are binding on every user.
- User reporting: every user can report a concern from inside the app (see below).
- Review: reports are reviewed by our team. Content that violates these standards is removed and the account is disabled.
- External links: gift items may contain links to third-party shops. Links used to distribute prohibited material are removed and the account is disabled.
How to report a child safety concern
In the app: open Settings → Report a safety concern. This opens our reporting form without leaving the app.
By email: info@giftbuster.app
Web form: https://safety.giftbuster.app/report
Please include, where possible: what you saw, where you saw it (username, wishlist, or gift), and when. You do not need a Giftbuster account to contact us by email.
What happens after you report
- We review every report we receive.
- Content that violates these standards is removed.
- The account responsible is disabled.
- Where we identify apparent child sexual abuse material, we act in accordance with these standards and with applicable law, including reporting to the relevant authorities where the law requires it.
- We preserve related records as required by law.
Legal compliance
Giftbuster complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates.
