Delete your GiftBuster account

You can delete your GiftBuster account at any time, in any of the three ways below. Deleting your account can't be undone.

In the app

1. Open GiftBuster on your iPhone or Android device, sign in and go to your profile.
2. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner, then Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Tap Confirm.

On the web

1. Sign in at giftbuster.app.
2. Go to Settings → Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete account.

By email

Can't sign in? Email info@giftbuster.app from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete the account.

What we delete right away

• Your access: you're signed out and can no longer sign in.
• Your wishlists and the items on them are removed and are no longer visible to anyone.

What we delete within 30 days

Within 30 days we delete or anonymize the rest of your personal information, including your profile details (name, email, photo, birthday), uploaded photos, followers and following, and activity connected to your account.

We may keep some information for longer only where we must, to comply with law, resolve disputes or prevent abuse. Backups are overwritten on a regular schedule. See our Privacy Policy for details.
